Bayern Munich are in talks with Liverpool over the signing of Luis Diaz in the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports. Premier League champions Liverpool had initially rejected Bayern’s initial offer of £58.5 million for the Colombia international winger, but the Bundesliga champions have made a new bid of £65.4 million, including add-ons, and the two European giants are now in talks.
Diaz is part of the Liverpool squad for the pre-season tour of Asia, but Reds manager Arne Slot left the 28-year-old out of the squad for the match against AC Milan. While Liverpool have been reluctant to sell the Colombian star this summer, the winger himself ha expressed his desire to the Merseyside club to let him leave.
Liverpool have been hugely active in the summer transfer window and have signed a number of players already, including Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike. As for Bayern, the German giants have signed Jonathan Tah among others.
