Liverpool to meet Demba Ba’s €10 million release clause

Liverpool are weighing up a move for Newcastle striker Demba Ba, Daily Star Sunday reports.

With Luis Suarez set to miss next seven games through suspension and Andy Carroll struggling to find his form, Kenny Dalglish is eager to sign a new striker in January.

The Liverpool boss has now set his sights on Newcastle striker Demba Ba, who has been in scintillating form this season.

The Senegalese striker scored no less than 15 goals in 19 Premier League games this season, after arriving on a free transfer from West Ham in the summer.

Recent reports suggest that the 26-year-old has a €10 million release clause in his contract and Liverpool are ready to meet the clause in order to get their man.

The only problem is that the player is set to miss next few weeks of action due to his involvement at African Cup of Nations.

Liverpool needs a striker, not carrol please, and definitely another goalkeeper. Reina not so good anymore.
