Manchester City 7/10 to see past AS Roma in tomorrow’s Champions League group game

Manchester City have another difficult Champions League tie in their group this week with Serie A title-chasers AS Roma tomorrow night’s opponents. City ended their winless run with an impressive 4-2 win away to Hull in the Premier League, but the Sky Blues now need to replicate their performance in Europe after losing their opening group game to Bayern Munich.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side have had an indifferent start to the new season, and they won’t have been happy going down to a last minute defeat to Bayern, courtesy of former player Jerome Boateng. But they have home advantage against AS Roma tomorrow night, and William Hill are backing City with odds of 7/10 to get all three points.

AS Roma will be a difficult side for the Citizens, however. Rudi Garcia’s men have been built on a solid defence, while possessing individual brilliance. They will be a good match for Manchester City, who can’t afford to drop more points.
