Manchester United weighing up move for Kwadwo Asamoah

Manchester United are showing interest in Udinese midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah, La Gazzetta dello Sport reveals.

The Red Devils have long ago been alerted of the player’s potential, but recent reports suggest they are ready to step up their interest.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Sir Alex Ferguson sent his scouts to watch the 22-year-old in action against Fiorentina last weekend.

The talented midfielder is a key member of Francesco Guidolin’s side but given Udinese’s transfer policy that all players are available at the right price, the Zebrette would be willing to negotiate.

It is believed that Udinese value the player at £8 million, which is well within United’s price range.

Sir Alex Ferguson is widely tipped to sign another midfielder in January and Asamoah will certainly be taken into consideration.
