Njabulo Manqana is edging closer to his move from Golden Arrows to Orlando Pirates, with Siphelele Mthembu heading in the other direction.
Arrows resumed training on Wednesday after their mid-season break, with midfielder Manqana conspicuous in his absence from the Premier Soccer League’s 12th-placed club.
Pirates – fifth on the PSL table – have already released Mthembu to Arrows as part of their end of the swap deal. The forward, 24, joined training at his new club on Wednesday.
Arrows spokesperson Vusimuzi Vilakazi confirmed that Manqana was no longer training with the club.
He told Kickoff.com, “It’s true that Manqana was not part of the training today due his possible move to Pirates. The deal is in the pipeline.”
