Inter Miami have secured the permanent transfer of MLS Cup playoff hero Tadeo Allende from Celta Vigo.

The 26-year-old has signed a contract to run through the 2030 MLS season, with an option to extend his stay until June 2031.

Allende initially joined Miami at the start of the 2025 season on loan and went on to score 24 goals in 54 appearances across all competitions.

Nine of those goals came in the playoffs, en route to Miami lifting the MLS Cup for the first time in their history, more than any other player has ever managed in a postseason campaign, as he overhauled Carlos Ruiz’s record of eight from 2002.

Allende also registered three assists for the Herons as he established himself as an integral part of the team’s attack, alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

The Argentine is the latest signing in a busy offseason for Miami, who have also added goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair to their roster, along with Facundo Mura, Sergio Reguilon and Micael.

Miami begin their 2026 MLS campaign against Los Angeles FC on February 21.
