Milan, Arsenal and Chelsea eye free Vlahovic transfer

According to numerous reports in Italy, Dusan Vlahovic staying at Juventus past the expiration of his current contract at the end of the season remains highly unlikely, and several clubs, namely AC Milan, Arsenal and Chelsea, are considering the possibility of obtaining his services on a free transfer. Barcelona and Bayern Munich were mentioned in that aspect in the past, but those stories have gone cold. The 26-year-old striker would be open to signing a new contract at Juventus, but not one that would see his €12million per year wages reduced.

Vlahovic started the season in fantastic form, getting four goals and an assist to his name in the opening four matches across the Serie A and the Champions League, but he only managed two goals and one assist in the following 13 appearances. Things got even worse in early December, when he picked up an adductor injury, which required surgery and has kept him out of action since.

The Serbia international has now returned to individual training, but he’s not expected to play for another month.
