According to report on the BBC, new Valencia signing Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Gonzalez has joined Newcastle on a season-long loan deal.
The midfielder joined the Spanish side from Uruguayan club Danubio and signed a four-year deal at the Mestalla, but immediately moved to St James’ Park.
A statement on Valencia’s website said, “Nacho Gonzalez has become a new player at Valencia – he will play on loan this season at Newcastle.”
The 26-year-old has made 21 international appearances for Uruguay.
