(GSM) – After the disappointment of suffering the upset of the tournament, European champions Spain will look to take out their rage against Honduras on Monday in Group H play.

Spain controlled the ball for much of the game, but a lone goal by Gelson Fernandes relegated them to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Swiss in their opener.

Honduras were outclassed in their opener by Chile, but kept the scoreline close in a 1-0 defeat.

Some reports have suggested that Spain coach Vicente del Bosque might let Fernando Torres go from the start alongside David Villa, but those rumors have not yet been confirmed.

Andrés Iniesta took a leg knock against Switzerland, and his availability is questioned.

Bad news came earlier this week for Honduras as they learned key striker David Suazo is almost certain to miss out due to injury. Julio de León has been ruled out of the tournament with injury and is no longer with the team.

Honduras will need to avoid seeing Wilson Palacios booked as a second one for him would mean missing out on Los Catrachos’ final group game against Switzerland.

Spain are fortunate to have made it through their first game with a single player booked.
