(GSM) – Barcelona captain Carles Puyol would welcome his Spain teammate Sergio Ramos with open arms at the Camp Nou.
Puyol believes the Real Madrid defender would be the ideal player to succeed him at the heart of Barca’s defence.
“I think it would be a very complicated operation and that Madrid would be wrong to let him go,” said Puyol. “But he would be a fitting heir to me.
“He is a great defender.”
