AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf could be on his way to Anzhi Makhachkal, according to reports.

The ambitious Russian Premier League side are keen to add to their ranks ahead of the second half of the season in their attempts to qualify for the Champions League, and Eurosport claims they see the 35-year-old Seedorf as a useful addition to their midfield.

Former Netherlands international Seedorf has made over 400 official appearances for Milan since joining the club in 2002, but is no longer an undisputed starter under coach Massimiliano Allegri.

The former Inter Milan and Real Madrid star has a contract with the Serie A champions until the end of the season.
