Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni has praised Yuto Nagatomo for his displays with the Serie A giants this season.
Japan international Nagatomo joined Inter permanently from Cesena in August following a six-month loan spell at San Siro last season and has developed into an important first-team member at the club.
“He’s one of the players who has improved the most since I’ve been here and he can still become even better,” Stramaccioni told reporters.
“He’s humble and he works hard. We’re holding on tight to him.
“The individual work that he’s doing with Beppe Baresi is also important. If he also becomes good with his left then he’ll be even more dangerous.”
The 26-year-old Nagatomo has made 14 appearances for Inter this term, scoring one goal.
