(GSM) – Trabzonspor are at the top of the Turkish Super Lig table following Saturday’s 3-1 win over Genclerbirligi.

After winning their previous two games in style, Trabzonspor hoped to get a third consecutive victory at home against Genclerbirligi.

Things did not go as expected however as the away side drew first blood through Serkan Calik in the 32nd minute.

It took ‘Trab’ until the 68th for Burak Yilmaz to restore the balance. Four minutes later, Brazilian substitute Jaja Coelho completed the turn-around.

The third and final home goal came from Umut Bulut with nine minutes to go.

Bursaspor now need a win at Ankaragücü on Sunday in order to reconquer the top spot.
