Valencia to cash in on Nani

Superdeporte is reporting that Valencia have decided to sell star player Nani in the summer transfer window.

Los Che are in the process of trimming down their salary budget and they now plan to offload one of their highest earners.

Nani, Garay and Abdennour are all expected to leave, although Valencia still need to find buyers for the trio.

Head coach Marcelino initially planned to use the Portuguese as a second forward this season, but a knee injury prevented the 30-year-old from featuring in pre-season.

It also probably put off some of his suitors, but Valencia officials hope interested clubs will come forward with official proposals in the coming weeks.

Los Che plan to replace Nani with former Villarreal forward Luciano Vietto, the player Marcelino knows all too well.
