“We have to be better next time” – Olympique Marseille forward Timothy Weah reacts to Champions League defeat to Liverpool (Video)

Liverpool proved too good for Olympique Marseille at the Velodrome on Wednesday, with a clever Dominik Szoboszlai free-kick, an own-goal from Marseille goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli, and a fine Cody Gakpo finish, setting the scoreline at 0-3.

The Ligue 1 side did have their moments, especially in the second half, but as Timothy Weah says, they just couldn’t get a goal they desperately needed to change the direction of the game.
