Arsene Wenger has hinted that Arsenal could be active in the January transfer market.
The Gunners managed to bring no less than four players in the closing stages of summer transfer window, but Wenger is likely to continue shopping in January.
“At the moment I would say, spontaneously, ‘No’,” Wenger told Daily Mail, when asked if he was planning to buy few more players in January.
“But, firstly, it depends who is in the market and, secondly, it depends how well we do from now on to December.
“Because if we have good results and the players develop well, number wise we have a big squad.”
Wenger says he is happy with the impact the summer arrivals have made on the squad.
“Many times people judge your buys quickly but I’m quite happy with the buys we made.
“I’m not happy with our results, but that’s completely different. I’ve heard Song is a bad buy, Henry was a bad buy.”
