Wrexham are interested in signing former Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen in the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports. The report has claimed that Welsh club have held talks with the Denmark international, who has been impressed by their pitch and ambition.
Eriksen is a free agent at the moment after leaving Man United at the end of last season. Although the 33-year-old still prefers to play for a club in the top flight of English football, a move to Wrexham cannot be ruled out just yet.
Wrexham, co-owned by Hollywood celebrities Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds, will play in the Championship next season after winning automatic promotion from League One. Their plan is to eventually reach the Premier League and are expected to push for at least the playoff spots in the Championship in the 2025-26 season.
