Arsenal eye Kroos move

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kross could be set to seal a summer move to Arsenal, according to the Metro.

The World Cup winner is contracted until the end of the 2019/20 season but may leave at the end of the summer and the Gunners are keen to win the race to secure his services.

Kroos moved to the Bernabeu from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2014 and has so far racked up eighty-seven appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals while his only strike this season came in a 4-2 win over Athletic Bilbao last month.

Should he seal a move to the Emirates Stadium, it would see him link up with former Real Madrid man Mesut Ozil, who was also part of Germany’s triumphant squad in Brazil back in 2014.

The twenty-six year old has been capped sixty-two times for his country, scoring for them on nine occasions.
