Bayern Munich welcome Benfica to the Allianz-Arena for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash tonight, and are big favourites to come away with a win. Manager Pep Guardiola is desperate to succeed in Europe in his last season, and he certainly has the squad for it.
Bayern are on course to win the German Bundesliga title again, but they will be pinning all their focus on Europe. This season, the home side have won six and drawn one of their last eight games in the Champions League, and impressive beat last season’s finalists Juventus in the last-16.
