Chelsea keen on Renato Sanches

London Evening Standard is reporting that Premier League champions Chelsea are weighing up a move for Bayern Munich starlet Renato Sanches.

The Bavarians are prepared to either sell the youngster or farm him out on loan, but they were unable to reach an agreement with his suitors AC Milan.

According to London Evening Standard, Chelsea have shown interest in Sanches and Antonio Conte called his compatriot Carlo Ancelotti to enquire about the possibility of signing the Portuguese footballer.

Despite signing Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco, the Blues manager plans to recruit another central midfielder due to the fact that Nemanja Matic is nearing the exit door.

Renato Sanches failed to impress in his debut season at Allianz Arena, making just 17 league appearances for the Bavarians.
