(GSM) – San Lorenzo failed to jump back to the top of the Argentinian Primera Division, suffering a 2-0 defeat at Colon on Saturday.

After four wins and three draws, San Lorenzo hoped to keep their unbeaten status in an away match to Colon de Santa Fe.

But the home side took the lead after 35 minutes with Damian Diaz directing the ball past San Lorenzo goalkeeper Albil.

And in the first minute of added time, Diaz’ replacement Joaquin Larrivey double the advantage to end San Lorenzo’s ambitions.

As a result, San Lorenzo drop to third place and could drop another few spots after Sunday’s Primera Division action.
