Costa close to Al Hilal loan

Diego Costa could be set for a loan move to Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal ahead of proposed move to Atletico Madrid, according to the Mail Online.

The twenty-eight year old is closing in on securing a return to the club who sold him to Chelsea in the summer of 2014 though he will not be able to be registered as an Atleti player until their transfer ban ends in January.

A number of teams had registered an interest in taking the Spain international for the short term but it appears that Al Hilal may about to win the race for his services.

Costa will be keen to play before January as he looks to secure a place in Spain’s squad for next summer’s World Cup finals in Russia.

The Brazilian born striker has made one hundred and twenty appearances for Chelsea in all competitions, scoring for them fifty-nine times.
