Guangzhou Evergrande moved seven points clear at the top of the Chinese Super League on Saturday after a third straight win.

Evergrande cruised past Liaoning Whowin on the road 3-0 with strikes from Jiang Ning, as well as Gao Lin and Argentine recruit Dario Conca after half-time.

Marcello Lippi’s side are now undefeated in five games and have a healthy goal difference advantage over Jiangsu Sainty, having crushed them 5-1 last Sunday.

Jiangsu Sainty atoned for last week’s result with a 1-0 win away to Beijing Guoan thanks to Ren Hang’s 23rd-minute goal.

The three points moves Jiangsu level on 25 points with Beijing and into second place on goal difference.

Bottom side Qingdao Jonoon sprung the surprise result of the round with a 3-2 win over fourth-placed Guangzhou R&F, their first win in seven matches.

Zhu Jianrong scored the winner just before the hour mark after Brazilian Rafael Coelho had made it 2-2 for R&F at the end of first-half stoppage time.

Shandong Luneng was too strong at home for Shanghai Shenxin in a 3-1 win that kept them clear of the relegation zone.

Fifth-placed Guizhou Renhe and sixth-placed Changchun Yatai both extended their winning streaks with three points on the road against Tianjin Teda and Hangzhou respectively.

Yu Hai and Zhang Chenglin both bagged goals in the second half as Guizhou came from a goal down to win 2-1, while Changchun made it three wins in a row with late goals from Wang Dong, from the penalty spot, and Chen Liansheng.

Both scored in the last 10 minutes to help Changchun turn around a 2-0 deficit in the first half for a memorable win.

Dalian Shide and Henan Jianye played out a goalless draw.
