Everton agree deal for Ademola Lookman

Premier League outfit Everton look set to announce the first signing of the January transfer window, according to BBC Sport.

The Toffees are in advanced talks with Charlton Athletic as they look set to finalise a £10 million transfer for forward Ademola Lookman.

New Director of Football Steve Walsh has insisted on recruiting the 18-year-old footballer and the deal should be wrapped up in the coming days.

Lookman was handed his first team debut last season and he went on to impress in his maiden Championship campaign, scoring 5 goals in 24 outings.

The club were since relegated to League One, but the youngster continued the rich vein of form and he already has 7 goals scored in all competitions this term.

Lookman clearly did enough to impress Everton Director of Football Steve Walsh and he is now set to make another important step in his career.
