Giroud turning heads in Milan and Turin

It’s not just Olivier Giroud’s mesmerising beard that makes him so appealing, he’s also quite good at football. That’s in the eyes of Juventus and Inter Milan at least and the two Italian rivals are set to go head to head in a battle to secure the French striker’s services, according to the Mirror.

Giroud is a favourite of France manager Didier Deschamps and the striker scored in his nation’s final World Cup qualifying game last night against Belarus. The goal came at a poignant time as Arsenal legend Robert Pires has backed Giroud to be the starter in Russia next summer, ahead of the likes of his Arsenal teammate Alexandre Lacazette and PSG wonder kid Kylian Mbappe.

In fact the only person who doesn’t seem to love Olivier Giroud is Arsene Wenger. The Arsenal manager seems to consider the striker as little more than an impact sub and he started just 11 games in the Premier League last season. Despite this the Frenchman bagged 12 goals, and it is little surprise that other European clubs are beginning to offer the striker a move away from North London.
