Lille coach Rudi Garcia’s is determined to claim three points when his side travels to struggling Evian in Ligue 1 on Saturday.

Lille, on a two-match winning streak, are up to 10th in the league following a 1-0 win over Toulouse last weekend, while their opponents hover just above the drop zone in 17th.

Garcia said it’s a must-win fixture that’ll be made even harder given Evian’s need for points.

“No game is easy, no game is won in advance. We need to continue to show a quality game and a mindset that is ours now and we can do with the results,” Garcia said.

“All players give a lot and work hard. We need to be more efficient on the finish. Also, there are a lot of injured players and it is not easy. But I hope it’s not going to go against us.”

“We know that the table isn’t entirely accurate because Evian didn’t play Sochaux last weekend, so they will be in better shape. But the most important thing is to be in a good shape and make the most of our opportunities and see who’ll be starting and who’ll be on the bench,” he said.
