Manchester City are readying a fresh assault on AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy, Il Corriere dello Sport understands.
Roberto Mancini is planning a major squad overhaul after what was a very disappointing season and he is looking to shake up his attacking options as well.
With Edin Dzeko likely to leave in the summer, the Citizens are stepping up their efforts to sign Stephan El Shaarawy.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, they are preparing a €35 million bid for the Italy international, having upped their previous offer by €5 million.
The problem is Milan are not interested in selling one of their prized assets, especially as the player only recently signed a new deal until June 2018.
El Shaarawy, 20, has been in scintillating form this season, bagging 16 goals in 32 Serie A matches, although he has failed to find the next in last ten appearances for club and country.
