Swansea star Michu has moved to deny speculations linking him with a summer exit from Liberty Stadium.
The Spaniard has been in amazing form since arriving at the club from Rayo Vallecano, and his goals have helped the Swans make it to the Capitol One Cup final.
Swansea have also climbed to 7th in the Premier League and Michu is eager to help the team continue the rich vein of form.
Despite being widely tipped to leave Liberty Stadium for a top European club in the summer, the 26-year-old is adamant he has no intention to leave.
“I am happy at the club,” Michu was quoted as saying by Sky Sports. “If we win the League Cup final we will be in Europe, then I will be very happy. I’m not thinking about any other teams.
“I don’t know how long I will be at Swansea. I’m just enjoying it now.”
Michu joined Swansea in a €2.6 million deal from Rayo Vallecano last summer, after scoring 15 La Liga goals in his first ever season in Spain’s top flight.
He has quickly become a key player at Liberty Stadium as well, bagging 15 goals in 25 Premier League appearances for the Swans.
