Neville wants Falcao at Valencia

New Valencia coach Gary Neville is reportedly considering a January bid for Monaco striker Radamel Falcao Garcia, according to AS.

The former Manchester United defender was recently appointed head coach at Mestalla and he is already looking for ways to reinforce the squad.

AS has learned that Neville is hoping to get reunited with Monaco striker Radamel Falcao, after the pair established a good relationship during the Colombian’s spell at Old Trafford.

And with Falcao almost certain to leave Chelsea in search of first team football, Valencia stand a decent chance of luring him back to Spanish La Liga.

It was in Spain’s top flight that the 29-year-old enjoyed the most successful period of his career, having bagged impressive 52 goals in 68 league outings for Atletico Madrid.

Valencia currently occupy ninth position in the league standings and they are 9/2 chance to finish the current season in top 4.
