(GSM) – Sporting Lisbon again failed to win in the Portuguese league, being held to a 1-1 draw at home against Nacional.

No goals were scored in the first hour at Jose de Alvalade stadium in the Portuguese capital, but Sporting did break the deadlock through Carlos Saleiro in the 65th minute.

It would not be enough for three points however as Danielson, one of six Brazilians in Nacional’s line-up, score the equaliser with about ten minutes left to go.

The result leaves Sporting in seventh place at no less than ten points from leaders Porto. Nacional are currently in 11th position.
