Stoke attempting to lure Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi

Stoke City are attempting to win the Premier League pursuit for in-demand Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi and have tabled a big-money offer in order to tempt the Belgian forward on the Deadline Day.

According to L’Equipe, the Potters are in the frontline to sign Batshuayi who has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs in recent months.

The Belguim international has signed a contract extention with Marseille at the start of 2016 and is unlikely to opt for a change of scenery, knowing that the player himself is keen on preserving his form in order to get his place in the Euro 2016 team.

Batshuayi is contracted to Marseille until 2019, but he has also been targeted by West Ham and Tottenham, who were also keen on adding the talented 22-year-old to their ranks.
