Marco Verratti will reject advances from Real Madrid and stay at Paris Saint-Germain, even if Carlo Ancelotti takes over at the Bernabeu.

The former Chelsea manager is the strong favourite to replace Jose Mourinho at the Spanish club after guiding PSG to their first Ligue 1 title since 1994 last season.

And there is speculation 20-year-old Verratti could also make the switch to La Liga, but the Italian is adamant his future is in France.
“I saw that Ancelotti was perhaps going to Real. If this is the case, I’m happy for him because this is a very big club,” Veratti told Rai.

“But my future is not tied to that of the coach.
“I am very happy in Paris and I want to stay at PSG.”
Veratti featured on 27 occasions for the club last season as they claimed the title by 12 points from second-placed Marseille.
