30th October: Wednesday’s European Accumulator – 7/1

With a hectic Wednesday night of footballing action from across Europe, we here at Soccer News have searched the top-tiers to find a handful of helpful tips that can boost your midweek acca:

Wednesday 30th October

BST 19:30 Liverpool vs Arsenal

Starting with Wednesday’s hosts, battling from behind to pick up a dramatic 2-1 victory over Spurs at Anfield on Sunday, Liverpool have extended their buffer at the top of the Premier League to six points. With the mood on Merseyside continuing to soar and many starting to believe that they can clinch their first Premier League title come May, Jurgen Klopp’s men are now the only side in England’s footballing tiers who are yet to taste defeat. Continuing to enjoy what has been a stellar run of form at Anfield, the former Borussia Dortmund boss has seen his side now enjoy a 20-match unbeaten run against ‘big six’ opponents on home soil, a run that stems back to January 2016. While the mood in Klopp’s camp might be at a continued high, the same cannot be said for an Arsenal side continuing to show some glaring inconsistencies. Throwing away a two-goal lead against Crystal Palace in North London over the weekend, it feels that the pressure is really starting to mount on Head Coach Unai Emery. Winning just one of their last five matches on the road, including a 1-0 loss away at Bramall Lane last week, Arsenal also suffered a 3-1 loss the last time they made the trip to Anfield.

Tip: Liverpool win @ 4/5

19:45 Motherwell vs Kilmarnock

Putting in another rugged display and snatching a late winner against St. Mirren over the weekend, Kilmarnock find themselves enjoying quite the resurge heading into November. Now sat third in the Premiership and leading the race to finish as the best of the rest behind Celtic and Rangers, Angelo Alessio’s side have won their last three matches on the bounce and are enjoying an unbeaten run that stems back to the 22nd of September. A huge part of Kilmarnock’s recent resurge has come down to some eye-catching defensive resolve. Wednesday’s guests have shipped just a single goal in almost 400 minutes of action and they have remarkably recorded six clean sheets in their last eight Premiership matchups. With Motherwell appearing to slip back to their old ways, Alessio’s side should be confident of extending their winning run in midweek. Suffering a 2-1 defeat away at Ibrox last time out, The Steelmen have now been hit with back-to-back defeats, including a 3-0 hammering at home to Aberdeen in their last appearance on home soil. With Kilmarnock picking up victories in their last two trips to Fir Park, we’re backing the guests to enjoy another nights work on the road.

Tip: Kilmarnock draw no bet @ 11/10

20:00 Juventus vs Genoa

While Juventus would have been extremely disappointed to have only snatched a surprise draw away at Leece last weekend, the reigning Serie A champions are seen to be a huge favorite to reclaim their domestic crown. Although Inter Milan may have the opportunity to briefly leapfrog Maurizio Sarri’s men to top spot on Tuesday night, The Old Lady are enjoying a 13-match unbeaten run since opening the 2019/2020 campaign and are yet to taste defeat across any format. One man who has really started to shine since the former Chelsea boss took charge at the Allianz Stadium is Paulo Dybala. Converting from the spot over the weekend, the Argentina ace has now bagged four goals in his last four appearances and should be looking to exploit on a leaky Genoa defence. While Wednesday’s guests may have ended their three-match losing run on Saturday, former PSG midfielder Thiago Motta finds his side holding just a one-point buffer from slipping into the drop zone. Losing their last three Serie A matches on the road they have also conceded three or more goals in each of their five appearances outside of the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris so far this season.

Tip: Juventus to score over 2.5 goals @ 6/5
