Ajax eyeing Dusan Tadic

Dutch daily newspaper De Telegraaf is reporting that Ajax are readying an ambitious bid for Southampton playmaker Dusan Tadic.

The Serbian midfielder has somewhat struggled for form this season, although he recently scored a brace in what could prove a crucial win over Bournemouth.

But, considering that Southampton could get relegated if they fail to defeat Swansea on Tuesday, Tadic may be leaving the Saints at the end of the season.

With Hakim Ziyech widely expected to leave for greener pastures in the summer, Ajax want the former Groningen and Twente star to replace the Moroccan at Amsterdam ArenA.

Dusan Tadic, 29, managed 6 goals and 3 assists in 34 Premier League outings this season, but it remains to be seen whether he will be interested in returning to the Netherlands.
