AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri knows his men will not have it easy when they travel to Bologna on Sunday.
Milan – who are on an eight-match unbeaten run in Serie A – have a chance to move to the top of the table with an away win.
But Allegri is aware of the challenge his side will face against Bologna, who carry their own solid form into the clash.
“It won’t be an easy match at all for us (Sunday),” Allegri said.
“We need to be very careful and must play with patience and try to play a technically good match and try to get the three points – that’s what is most important.”
“We know it will be a difficult match because they’re going through quite a good phase.”
“They played an excellent match in Turin on Thursday night in the Coppa Italia, they were eliminated after 120 minutes of play and they had beaten Siena the Sunday before.”
Before their 2-1 defeat after extra time to Serie A table-toppers Juventus in the Coppa Italia on Thursday, Bologna had bult a three-match unbeaten run of their own in all competitions.
