New PSG boss Carlo Ancelotti was unhappy with his side’s performance in his first competitive match in charge.
Ancelotti watched from the sidelines in agony as PSG only just scraped past fifth-tier outfit Saint-Colomban Locmine, 2-1, in the Coupe de France on Sunday.
They needed a goal in stoppage time from Uruguayan defender Diego Lugano to progress into the 10th round of the competition.
And despite being satisfied with the result, the former Chelsea boss was not happy with his side’s performance.
“I am not happy at all because we could have played better,” Ancelotti said.
“I am just satisfied because at the end of the day it is a win. When you win, you can then work with confidence.”
“Every game is difficult. I know that we faced a weaker team but they were highly motivated and very focused. It is normal.”
