Angel Di Maria coy on PSG future

Paris Saint-Germain star Angel Di Maria has revealed that he doesn’t know whether he will be leaving Parc des Princes at the end of the season.

The Argentine has struggled for playing time since the Saints splashed out on Neymar and Mbappe, and he admits he almost left the club last summer.

“I knew that with the summer recruitment, it would be more difficult to play,” the Argentine told France Football. “I almost left at one point, but the club did not want me to.”

Di Maria appears to be considering his options as the summer transfer window nears closer, and a summer exit remains a possibility.

“I don’t know what will happen, football is very strange,” he noted about his future. “I’m happy here, but the club has to sign players and for that it must sell others.”

Since joining PSG from Manchester United, Di Maria managed 50 goals and 55 assists in 132 competitive outings, but he was often left out of the big games this term.
