Arsenal, Everton keen on Diogo Leite

Arsenal and Everton are among clubs keeping close tabs on FC Porto youngster Diogo Leite, according to Record.

The 19-year-old has impressed in the reserve squad, making 23 appearances in Portugal’s second flight this term, while he also performed admirably in the UEFA Youth League.

According to reports, Arsenal and Everton scouts were present as Porto U19 recorded a 2-0 triumph over Tottenham U19 in London, with Leite helping his side keep another clean sheet.

The left-footed centre-back is currently focused on breaking into the first team set-up, but he could also leave the Dragons even before he makes his first senior appearance.

Leite recently signed a new deal until June 2021 at Estadio do Dragao, and it will take a serious offer for him to leave FC Porto next summer.
