Arsenal eyeing Lukas Klostermann

German media outlet Bild is reporting that Arsenal are hot on the trail of RB Leipzig defender Lukas Klostermann.

The Gunners have already recruited right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner on a free transfer from Juventus, but they are also showing interest in the Germany Under-21 starlet.

Lukas Klostermann has shown a great deal of potential since joining from Bochum, making a total of 70 league appearances.

The 22-year-old recovered well from a difficult injury and his versatility could prove an asset for Arsenal if the deal is agreed.

Namely, despite mostly operating as a right-back, Klostermann can be used anywhere across the back four.
