Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. Man United manager Ruben Amorim has already decided that Garnacho is not in his plans at Old Trafford, and La Liga club Atletico are keen on a summer deal.
The report has claimed that Atletico believe that Garnacho would fit perfectly into Diego Simeone’s style. ‘His speed, imbalance, and hunger for protagonism make him a profile that excites the coaching staff, although competition from England could raise the cost of the operation’, claims the report.
Garnacho has been on the books of Man United since 2020. The Argentina international winger initially moved to the Red Devils’ academy after leaving Atletico. The 20-year-old winger has scored 26 goals and given 22 assists in 144 appearances for Man United so far in his career.
