(GSM) – Portsmouth manager Avram Grant is unsure over his future at the club. Pompey are set to be relegated to the Championship and are still to find a new owner who can help solve their financial problems.

While relegation was foreseeable after a nine-point deduction was imposed in the midst of a financial crisis at club, Grant has done a good job in guiding his team to this month’s FA Cup final. However, with the club’s future still unknown, Grant is uncertain if he will be Portsmouth manager come next season.

Grant said: “I don’t know (if I will stay with the club in the Championship).

“I love this club. The club will always stay in my heart. This season has been touching.

“But first we need to know the future of the club. My future is not certain until then.

“We will need to wait and see if the club will be in a position where we can start to build again.

“I am waiting to see what will happen. This club needs a new owner, a new direction and stability.

“I hope to know what will happen in around two weeks.”
