Mario Balotelli wants to stay at Manchester City, despite talks over a return to Italy with AC Milan and former club Inter Milan.

The Italy international has been in impressive form for English Premier League City this campaign, and has become a valuable part of Roberto Mancini’s team.

The 21-year-old forward has long been linked with a move back to Italy, but has played down the prospect of leaving Etihad Stadium.

“Inter’s president Massimo Moratti said he would take me back in an instant,” Balotelli told The People.

“I thank him, but I don’t want to leave Manchester City right now. I am not thinking about returning to Italy for the time being, even though I have already spoken to AC Milan and Inter.”

“As for Napoli, I like the city of Naples. But there are other teams in England and in Spain that attract me.”

Balotelli joined City in August 2010 from Inter for 30 million euros. He has scored 21 goals in 45 appearances in all competitions for the Eastlands outfit.
