Barcelona vice-president Alfons Godall is convinced that midfielder Cesc Fabregas will return to the club ‘sooner or later’.
Fabregas joined Arsenal from Barcelona in 2003 after impressing in the Catalan’s youth ranks.
The Spaniard has been a hit in the Premier League and has been linked with both a return to Barcelona and a move to Real Madrid.
Reports say Barcelona are planning to make a £40million bid for Fabregas in the summer.
“Sooner or later Cesc will end up coming back,” Godall said in The Sun.
“We are a club that can sign players because we are respected and solvent.”
