Barcelona eye Lautaro Martinez as Robert Lewandowski successor

Barcelona are interested in signing Lautaro Martínez from Inter Milan in the summer of 2025, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Barcelona are on the hunt for a long-term successor to Robert Lewandowski, and that Martinez is a player on the radar of the Spanish club.

Lewandowski is one of the best strikers in the world and is a key player for Barcelona. The Polish star has scored seven goals and given two assists in seven La Liga matches for Barca this campaign. The striker scored 19 goals and provided eight assists in La Liga last season and scored 23 goals and gave seven assists in the league in 2022-23.

However, Lewandowski is 36 now, and Barcelona needs to find a suitable successor to the former Bayern Munich striker.
