According to a recent report from Sky Germany, Bayern Munich have agreed to a deal with Juventus to sign Matthijs de Ligt.
The belief is that Bayern will first pay a fee of around €70 million with a further €10 million in add-ons to potentially come down the line. The 22-year-old will sign a contract that is said to be for five years, keeping him in Germany – hypothetically – until summer 2027.
He could complete his medical in Munich on Monday before heading out on pre-season tour with them as Bayern continue to try and strengthen at the back ahead of the new campaign.
de Ligt has enjoyed a strong three years in Italy, following on from his run with Ajax that first put him on the map. Now, the youngster hopes to prove himself in an entirely different league.
