Bayern forward drops quit hint

Bayern forward Ivica Olic admits that he plans to leave the club in search of first team football.

The Croat’s career at Alianz Arena has been plagued with injuries and he has only been used sparingly by Jupp Heynckes this season.

Olic is now determined to leave Bayern so as to keep himself in the running for a place in Croatia squad for Euro 2012.

“The chances (of leaving now) are 50/50, but I will definitely have gone by the summer,” Olic told Bild.

“I have no problem fulfilling my contract, it is not as if I desperately need to leave.

“We will just have to see what happens this winter and then decide together. Maybe it is even better to stay until the summer, particularly for my family.”
