Bisevac relishing Marseille test

Paris Saint-Germain defender Milan Bisevac said the team will giving their all in Sunday’s El Classique with Marseille at Par des Princes.

The Parisians have gone three league games without a win, surrendering top spot to Montpellier in the process.

But the Serb maintains his team-mates are all united in their aim to lift the Ligue 1 title, and to inflict another defeat on Didier Deschamps’ side – who are winless in their last eight league matches.

“Even though we lost to Nancy, we must turn the page quickly because we have eight finals to go,” Bisevac told France Football.

“We all have the same objective in our heads: to win the title.”

The 28-year-old said he understands the importance of the clash against Marseille, and vowed to fight to help his side to victory.

“I’ve played in this sort of game before, when I played for Red Star against Partizan. Le Classique is a huge game,” he said.

“This match is the most important one of the year for the fans, and it’s also important to us. While Marseille are in a bad way, anything can happen.

“In Le Classique, you must give 100 percent to deliver victory. This is something we’ll strive to do in front of our own fans.”

Deschamps’ men ran out 3-0 winners in the season’s first meeting between the teams in November.
