Looking to extend on their EFL Cup adventure and make another statement on Tuesday night, Everton will welcome Fulham to Goodison Park.

Starting with the hosts, while Everton might have found themselves at the heart of a public crisis last month as they were hit with a 10-point deduction, Sean Dyche’s men have come roaring back in a remarkable fashion. Skyrocketing their way up the Premier League table and continuing to gain a string of plaudits, the Blues should find the mood in their camp at a red-hot high. Last seen over the weekend putting in another stellar performance as they secured a 2-0 victory away at Burnley, Everton have now won all of their previous four Premier League appearances by an aggregate score of 8-0. With their stunning purple patch highlighted by a 3-0 romp against Newcastle on December 7th, Everton have also suffered just a single loss from their last nine appearances across all competitions. With that run stemming all the way back to October 21st, Dyche’s high-flying squad will be smelling the chance to make another statement on Tuesday night.

As for the visitors, while Fulham might have opened December with back-to-back 5-0 romps against Nottingham Forest and West Ham respectively, Marco Silva’s men came crashing back down to earth over the weekend. Putting in a downbeat display as they slumped to a 3-0 loss at the hands of Newcastle, the former Everton boss will have a mounting headache over his side’s extended issues on the road. Including an action-packed 4-3 defeat against title contenders Liverpool earlier in the month, the Cottagers have lost their previous three showdowns away from Craven Cottage by an aggregate score of 10-4. Although Silva’s side might have clinched a 1-0 victory when they travelled to Goodison Park back on August 12th, Fulham should be bracing themselves for a stern challenge here. Meeting an Everton side that are riding a remarkable wave of momentum, we are back Tuesday’s hosts to punch their EFL Cup semi-final ticket.
