Competition: Spanish Segunda

Market: Valladolid draw no bet

Odds: 5/6 @ Pribet

Two sides who find themselves scrapping it out at opposite ends of the Segunda standings, Valladolid will make he trip to Huesca on Friday night.

Starting with the hosts, while Huesca might mark their return from November’s international break still scrapping it out in the relegation zone, Antonio Hidalgo’s side have claimed a welcomed boost. Heading into the fortnight interval with an eye-catching 2-0 victory away at Zaragoza, the Aragon-based outfit have their sights firmly set on extending their second-tier status. Unbeaten in each of their previous five domestic appearances across all formats – a run that stems back to October 22nd – the Azulgranas have also shipped just a single goal on their recent purple patch. However, facing what is a stern challenge when they return to El Alcoraz on Friday night, Huesca should be concerned by their continued issues on home soil. In fact, Hidalgo’s side have remarkably failed to muster a single win in any of their last six straight Segunda showdowns in front of their own supporters. It’s also worth noting, this weekend’s hosts have recorded just one goal in Aragon since the start of September.

As for the visitors, although Valladolid might have lost their La Liga status last season, Paulo Pezzolano’s side have their sights set on securing an immediate top-flight return. Marking their return to Segunda action on Friday night with just their goal difference keeping them outside of the automatic promotion places, the Pucela will be desperate to make another statement here. Extending on their Copa del Rey adventure earlier in the month as they breezed their way to a 5-1 romp away at lower-league Pena Deportiva, the former Cruzeiro boss should has seen his top-two contender lose just a pair of Segunda showdowns since the start of September. Last seen away from the Jose Zorrilla claiming an action-packed 3-2 win against Racing Santander, Valladolid will certainly be hoping to produce a repeat performance this weekend. Although Huesca might have turned a real corner prior to November’s international break, we are backing an away draw no bet this weekend.

Bet: Valladolid draw no bet against Huesca 5/6 for Friday’s Segunda showdown @ Pribet
