Competition: La Liga

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 8/11 @ Pribet

In what could prove to be a lively affair from El Sadar on Sunday evening, Osasuna will be looking to complete their European charge when Girona arrive this weekend.

Starting with the hosts, coming off the back of what was a frustrating 2-1 loss away at Getafe earlier in the week, Osasuna will know that they have plenty of pressure on their shoulders here. Opening up Sunday’s La Liga finale sat in that final European spot thanks to their goal difference, Jagoba Arrasate’s side certainly have the chance to make real history on Sunday evening. However, losing five of their last seven domestic appearances and showing plenty of issues over the past couple of months, Los Rojillos will certainly be glad to make a return to home soil this weekend. Desperate to finish off the job at El Sadar, a huge part of Osasuna’s success this season has come down to some rampant displays on home soil. Last seen in front of their own supporters picking up an eye-catching 2-0 win against Athletic Bilbao, Arrasate’s men have collected 12 points from just their last five La Liga showdowns in Navarre.

As for the visitors, although Girona might have impressed everyone across Spain since making their La Liga return this season, Michel’s men are limping their way over the finish line. Last seen getting hit with a 2-1 defeat at home against Real Betis, the Catalonia-based outfit have somewhat come crashing back down to earth since opening May with a real flurry. In fact, including a 2-1 loss at home against Villarreal last month, the former Rayo Vallecano boss has seen his side fail to win any of their last four top-flight appearances. Facing what could be a stern challenge when they travel to El Sadar for their final La Liga showdown, Michel will have a headache over his side’s recent defensive struggles. Mustering just a single clean sheet from last eight straight attempts, neutrals could be treated to an enjoyable affair on Sunday evening. Playing out a 1-1 draw when Osasuna came to town on October 23rd, we are backing both teams to find the net here.

Bet: Both teams to score at Osasuna vs Girona 8/11 for Sunday’s La Liga matchup @ Pribet
